If, like me, you like alternative firing, but don't own a plot of land, then this is the solution!. With this course you learn a technique that makes alternative firing in an electric kiln possible.

The fun of an alternative firing is the element of surprise, you never know exactly what you will get.

My name is Jolanda van de Grint and I'm specialized in saggar firing in an electric kiln. In 2021 my book 'Saggar firing in an electric kiln' was published and now there's also the online course.

The course starts with an introduction with general information about the course. This is followed by six lessons in which I'll take you through the whole process from making a saggar to finishing your pieces. If you bring each lesson into practice after watching it, you have done your first saggar firing at the end of the course.

Each lesson also comes with a PDF with extra information and tips.

The technique of breaking and reassembling pieces is not covered in the course.
